Oh my goodness, Ryder Dawson, 6 pounds 7 ounces, of a tiny ball of so much love. Ryder one of the best things in my life. I had such a good pregnancy with Ryder compared to my other two, still complaints of sickness, pelvic pain but no infections like Autumns, no premature labor, it was pretty text book, crazy heart burn but I could handle it all, in fact I loved sitting on my bed talking to Ryder while he moved in my belly, i still miss that! Ryder was such a good baby but he was a terrible sleeper, It was probably my fault, I didn't do any sleep training, in fact I just breastfeed him whenever he wanted, we cuddled him in our bed and didn't follow the rules, which is probably why he was a terrible sleeper and STILL wakes up at 5 am, the past 2 years I feel like I have felt permanently tired, he does sleep through the night now in his big boy bed which he has done amazing in! Ryder has been a bit of a slow talker, but I had my sweet Lincoln first for a reason. I am a pretty spazzy person in general but having Lincoln go through so many medical, and developmental problems really made me chill out about the certain age of "milestones", Autumn was a baby genius and did everything early and basically is matilda, andrew and I laugh because she lays out her clothes everyday and even packs her lunch, its kind of ridiculous, then there is Linc who has needed lots of extra help so having Ryder mumbling words and still not saying as much as we figure he should, were not worried. In fact this past week he has been talking up a storm, mostly only I would understand. At his birthday party he was saying "It's a truck!" and "oh wow!", he also knows most of his body parts and can point to them, as well as sings along to songs and knows how old he is! his first word was splash, then mama and his favorite saying is "stinky stinky poop" when he has a dirty diaper....it definitely drives me crazy because his siblings find this hilarious so Ryder will repeatedly say it, such a turkey!! He loves his siblings so much but will also be mean to them, he will run and jump on them while they are laying down watching a movie or randomly hit them....were in for the terrible twos!! I have never had a rough boy, Lincoln can get really silly but was never one to tackle wrestle or hit, so i am scared for Ryder, haha hopefully it will calm down. At least he has his big sister to keep him in check, shes always very much my helper for telling him no (she loves it), where Lincoln is more tender towards him and definitley babys him and helps him with everything. It's pretty sweet seeing his different sibling dynamic, having a third baby means less time one on one but really sweet relationships with his siblings, I love watching them.
here are some pictures of our angel over the past 2 years and his little birthday celebrations from last weekend with his baby friends and one with family!
