Well this Christmas season has been a blur! But I am starting to realize that's probably our new normal with three kids haha! I also try to fit in a lot of activities over the past month..maybe a few too many but now I am glad we did. Skating, trip to the mountains (including the gondola, swimming and sightseeing), sledding, seeing Santa, Family get togethers, christmas eve dinner out, christmas service at church, spruce meadows market, heritage park once upon a christmas, countless christmas movies, the nutcracker ballet and the nativity play at heritage park! wow its been busy but a lot of fun!! Christmas eve and Christmas day were of course filled with epic amounts of excitement, the only down fall is poor ry had a bad cold and by evening was miserable so we didn't stay late to play games with family or anything, luckily hubby and I still managed to play a game of catan once the kids were asleep. we as usual were beyond spoiled by our amazing family, its been a good one but being my neurotic self I woke up at 8 am and took the tree down and cleaned the house up on today boxing day haha! we put our tree up so early in november I am usually ready for it to be down by boxing day, we are so excited for new years to just hang out with our friends and chill ( we will actually be able to chill since we have a baby sitter), also I am very excited to see what 2017 holds for our family, our little baby will be 2, we have an anniversary trip planned...(our ten year anniversary, holy cow), and of course the daily grind with the kids, school and activities! Also hopefully another great year of progress of Andrews school and work...of course like most peoples new years resolutions mine does hold a bit of an exercise regime because I managed to over Christmas break gain 5 pounds HAHA because my diet consisted of peanut butter squares, baking and chocolates...with my only fruit/veggie daily being about 5 mandarin oranges! it will be good to get back on track but I am glad i did enjoy my self :). Hope everyone had a fabulous holiday season.
