Man I cannot believe my baby is 7!! 7 honestly sounds and feels huge, we are approaching grade 2 and time really is flying, it's so cliche but when I think back to when Lincoln was a baby, it almost feels like a life time ago but in those 7 years we have had two more children and been through so much, with Linc and really all of them. I have mentioned it many times but everyone who knows Lincoln knows how scary his birth and first few months of life were, being told he only had a 40% chance of survival was the worst feeling (I can't imagine how it is for parents with chronically ill children), but I really do feel like Lincoln is miracle, his long lasting issues (so far, hopefully no more), are glasses, being small for his age, and some developmental delay. My favourite thing about Lincoln is he gets along great with who ever he meets, he is very friendly and not shy, he doesn't give up with what he's trying to accomplish, and honestly he's hilarious..maybe not the kind of funny where his jokes make sense but weird funny, and our family loves it! Lincoln is here for a reason for sure, and it's not just my life, or his daddys or siblings life he has impacted, its many others, family, friends, and even random people who meet Lincoln tell me how special he is and how he is such a light in their life, I feel so privileged this special little spirit is in my life! Of course I could go on for hours about how much I love my kids, but here are some pictures of our silly little guy throughout the years, and his birthday party! We had a fun outdoor birthday party where him and his friends played lots of games and had presents and cake, it was a hit!
picture above is the day Lincoln was born, July 31 2008, then the picture below was in September so he had a few months to finally eat and chub up, I think he was about 3.5 pounds in the photo below.
