Start of Spring

Well it's officially spring! Even though it currently doesn't feel like it because it snowed a few days ago and is still chilly outside, the last week was beautiful and we soaked up as much sun as we could, knowing Calgary we knew it would snow again! We went for some walks outside and even made it to the zoo, the kids had so much fun being outside and seeing the animals. Lincoln is also on spring break this week so I am enjoying having him home and not needing to run out of the house so much, last week at his school he had parent teacher interviews and we were happy to hear how great he is doing and how enthusiastic he is at school! It was also the story telling convection so there was a story telling performance going on one evening for the whole school and the kindergartens had a part in it, they had a long story to tell with actions and we were amazed they all remembered the words and actions to it! Andrew and I didn't know Lincoln had his own little part in the play though, most of the kindergartens were at the back of the stage and then there was a few kids at the front in a line, Lincoln was one of them, Andrew and I were terrified as Lincoln never mentioned his part to us so we were worried maybe he would forget his line, but he did awesome as they came down the line with the microphone and he was really excited! His line was "quick tie them up as fast as you can", unfortunately we were near the back of the gym so we only got one picture to share, but we were so proud of our little man!!
